Set in 1930s New York City during the Great Depression, Annie Jr. tells the heartwarming story of a brave and optimistic orphan who believes that brighter days are always ahead. Living under the watchful eye of the grumpy Miss Hannigan at the New York City Orphanage, Annie dreams of finding the parents who left her years ago with only a note and half a locket. 

When the wealthy billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to spend Christmas at his mansion, her life takes an unexpected turn. Along the way, Annie’s courage and positivity bring hope and joy to everyone she meets. But when Miss Hannigan and her sneaky brother Rooster try to trick Warbucks with a fake set of parents, Annie must rely on her determination and the support of her new friends.
