Ancora Adventures is a well-rounded day of enrichment rotations for ages 5-8 years old. Attached is the flyer. 

Students will do a rotation of 4 classes. Each class will be 1 hour with a break for lunch and recess in between. These classes will typically have 3-4 weeks of unit study in each category. For example, Math & Science may include Legos, Science Experiments, and Math Games. Children’s Literature & Storytelling will include baking with books, building forts & castles or exploring books on animals. Students can choose to do PE or Dance. Their art & music time will include rhythm and singing, painting while listening to music and creative art projects. 

Cost is $900 per semester for full day ($15 per class)

4 payments per semester with 10% discount for payment in full.

Full Day – 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Students can stay for lunch and recess.

Sample Schedule:

8:30 – 9:30 – Children’s Literature & Storytelling
9:30- 10:30 – Math & Science
10:30 – 11:30 – Recess & Lunch
11:30-12:30 – PE or Dance
12:30 – 1:30 – Art & Music
1:30-2:00 – Small group activity and clean-up.
2:00 Dismissal

15 weeks of engaging classes per semester.

Full Day Price (4 classes)

  • $225 for Non-Academy students
  • $200 for Academy students
  • This is a semester-long commitment.

Half Day Price (2 morning classes or 2 afternoon classes):

  • $150 for Non-Academy students
  • $125 for Academy students
  • This is a semester-long commitment.

Half day students may stay through lunch or come early for no additional cost.

  • Little Bakers: cook, bake, mix and stir!

9:45-11:00am (choose one):

  • Children’s Nature Art: draw or create a unique nature art masterpiece.
  • Storytellers: build a puppet show, listen and share stories.

     

    2nd-4th

    8:30-9:45am (choose one):

    • Lego Club: Build and create with Legos.

    • Little House on the Prairie: read the story, make soap, bread, jam and more. 

    9:45-11:00am (choose one):

    • Science Fun: more fun experimenting with science.
    • Spanish World: Learn Spanish with music, games and activities.

      • Nature Explorers: search for insects, learn about butterflies and more.
      • Arts & Crafts: get creative with this fun arts and crafts class.

      • Puzzlers: put together legos, puzzles and brain games.

      2nd-4th

      11:45am-1:00pm (choose one):

      • Mixed Media Art: paint, sculpt, draw and get creative with art.

      • PE & Games: soccer, kickball, dodgeball and more fun games. 

      1:00-2:15pm (choose one):

      • Little Bakers: stir, mix, cook and bake!

      • Math Fact Lab: puzzles and math games to solidify math facts.
